Website Design and Development

This is an outline of our web site development process.

Please note that this timeline is estimated. Additional revisions or delayed response to materials will result in additional time.

• Getting started: After we determine the scope of your site, we will provide you with a final proposal. Once you execute it, we will contact you to schedule a convenient time to meet.
• Kickoff meeting/template design: The purpose of the first meeting (in person or via the phone) is to finalize the site map and gather information. Since our first task is to create an original web site we will ask you to identify several sites with web site elements (e.g. navigation, overall look and feel) that you like. We will create a template with these inputs in mind.
• Template review:  Two weeks from date of our meeting, we will deliver the site template for your review. The site template will consist of an index page and a secondary page template. This is where we will establish the overall look and feel, as well the general organization of the site.
• Feedback on template:  We will need your feedback on the template as soon as possible so that we can make the changes and move on to the site design.
• Template revisions:  One week from date that we receive your feedback on the template, we will make all requested revisions and present for your review and approval. The feedback/revision process continues as many times as is necessary to produce a design that works best for you.
• Site review:  In as little as two weeks from the date that we receive your final approval on the template, we will deliver the rest of your site. Please note that this timeline is contingent upon us receiving all of the requested supporting materials before we begin this part of the process.
• Site revisions:  You will have the opportunity to review your site and we will work through any changes needed until you are happy with the site.
• Finally, we will provide you with a CD with all of the files related to your web site as well as all of the information you need to access the online version of your web site.
